Photoshop Training with Texture & Pattern Design...

We recently had the pleasure of visiting the North East to deliver some Photoshop training, which was pitched at Intro level but tailored around the clients job. She needed to work with textures and patterns in Photoshop to fit carpet tiles into flat designs as shown below. So as well as the basics focusing on tools like Transform, Warp and Perspective were vital as were repeat patterns and offsets.

After the training the delegate emailed her very first peice of work across and also very kindly wrote this.

"Just finished off my first attempt at putting in some carpet tiles to an image and thought I'd share with you :)"
